OK so there are no engines involved, and just 2 wheels, but you can’t knock these guys
As with all our European Driving Adventures we like to be as prepared as possible so we take time to visit hotels, check routes and generally cover most things that will be required to make our roadtrips as smooth running as possible. To that end we’ve just completed our ‘rekkie’ for our 2014 road trips. Flying to Paris and picking up our rental for the week, a Peugeot 208 HDi [not the prettiest of cars but it was a rental, so it got driven hard] we covered 2,500 miles, visited 7 countries and checked 28 hotels, picking the best for our trips. We also managed to squeeze in some time at the Nurburgring for our friend Rob’s stag do – Rob’s been on 2 of our trips now and is back for a 3rd year in 2014. Here are some pictures form where we went, what we saw and a bit of what to expect if you join us on one of our driving adventures in 2014.
Once again Rico Rally will be exhibiting at Autosport International at the Birmingham NEC. This will be our 3rd year at the show which has been a great event for us
We recently attended the 2nd Wilmslow Motor Show, with several Rico Rally cars on display in the town centre as part of the show. Our Dodge Ram was joined by a Porsche 911, complete with fresh Martini Graphics, A modified Audi S3 and VW Bora along with a stunning Mustang.
