Rico Rally – Ireland
A 6-Night Driving Adventure from the Wicklow Mountains and the Copper Coast to the Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara and the Ring of Kerry, this carefully planned route showcases some of Ireland’s finest driving roads and most spectacular scenery.
Expect dramatic coastlines, mountain passes, colourful towns, historic landmarks and a relaxed touring atmosphere, all combined with quality hotels, seamless organisation and the company of fellow driving enthusiasts.
Day 1: Wicklow Mountains
Following the ferry crossing from the UK, we head into the heart of the Wicklow Mountains.
Highlights include the famous Sally Gap, the Old Military Road and some of Ireland’s finest mountain scenery.
We arrive at Ireland’s oldest hotel, where we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and our first night on tour.

Day 2: Mountains, Coast and Cork
Today’s route showcases the remarkable variety that makes Ireland such a rewarding place to explore by car.
From the Blackstairs Mountains and Scullogue Gap we continue through the Nore Valley before reaching the coast. Highlights include sections of the Copper Coast Road, the famous Magic Road, Mahon Falls and the scenic Knockmealdown Mountains.
Passing through the historic town of Lismore, there’s the option to detour to Blarney Castle before arriving in Cork for the evening.

Day 3: Beara Peninsula and Killarney
Heading west, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as we reach Ireland’s Atlantic coastline.
The day includes the magnificent Healy Pass – one of Ireland’s greatest driving roads – together with the rugged landscapes of the Beara Peninsula and the beautiful Caha Pass.
After visiting Ross Castle we arrive in Killarney for a two-night stay, giving you time to relax and enjoy one of Ireland’s most vibrant and welcoming towns.

Day 4: Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula
A full day exploring some of Ireland’s most celebrated scenery.
The route includes Ladies View, Moll’s Gap, the Ring of Kerry, the Skellig Ring and the spectacular Kerry Cliffs before continuing onto the Dingle Peninsula.
The day concludes with the dramatic ascent of Connor Pass before returning to Killarney for a second evening.

Day 5: Wild Atlantic Way
After a short ferry crossing over the Shannon, we join the Wild Atlantic Way for a day of unforgettable coastal scenery.
Highlights include Loop Head, Kilkee Cliffs, the famous Candlestick, Spanish Point, the Cliffs of Moher and the unique limestone landscapes of the Burren.
Our final night is spent in Galway, where we come together for a farewell group dinner.

Day 6: Connemara and Homeward Bound

Our final driving day begins with the famous Sky Road before venturing deeper into Connemara, a region renowned for its mountains, lakes and unspoilt scenery.
After lunch we make our way across Ireland towards the ferry port for the evening sailing back to the UK, bringing our Irish adventure to a close.
